Liverpool will endeavour to keep the pressure on Premier League leaders Chelsea when they travel to the capital to face West Ham United on Sunday evening.
David Moyes‘s side marched to a 4-1 success over Aston Villa in their most recent league battle, while the Reds could only draw 2-2 with Brighton & Hove Albion.
Andriy Yarmolenko and Nikola Vlasic both missed the midweek draw against Genk with knocks and remain doubtful for this contest, but neither man would have started anyway.
Moyes did not report any fresh concerns from the Europa League stalemate and is set to recall the likes of Johnson and Kurt Zouma to the backline this weekend.
Tomas Soucek, Pablo Fornals and Jarrod Bowen will also reclaim their rightful places in the Premier League XI, with Lanzini, Mark Noble and Arthur Masuaku all set to drop out of the XI.
As for Liverpool, Klopp has confirmed that Roberto Firmino sustained a “serious” hamstring injury in midweek, while Curtis Jones is out with an eye injury and Joe Gomez is nursing a calf issue.
Jones’s absence adds to Liverpool’s midfield crisis with Naby Keita, James Milner and Harvey Elliott also in the infirmary, but Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara are both raring to go, as is Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Ibrahima Konate and Andy Robertson are both set for recalls to the rearguard this weekend, while Salah is aiming to become the first player to score in his side’s first six league matches of the Premier League season away from home, having already matched Thierry Henry’s record of five.
West Ham United possible starting lineup:
Fabianski; Johnson, Zouma, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Rice, Soucek; Bowen, Fornals, Benrahma; Antonio
Over 8.5 Corners
