Real Madrid sign Iker Bravo on loan

Real Madrid have completed the signing of Iker Bravo on a loan deal from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 17-year-old left Barcelona‘s La Masia academy last summer to join the Bundesliga club after failing to agreed a new contract with the Catalan giants.

Bravo featured regularly for Leverkusen’s Under 19 side, while he made two appearances for the senior side in a league encounter against Hertha Berlin and a DFB-Pokal meeting with Karlsruher.

However, Bravo has now left Leverkusen to return to Spain and join Barcelona’s rivals Real Madrid in a loan move.

The season-long loan deal also includes a buy option for the Spain Under 19 player, who is expected to play for Real Madrid’s reserve team.

Bravo will join up with the Castilla side – who currently play in the third tier of Spanish football – where he will be managed by former Real Madrid striker Raul.
