Kylian Mbappe denies Real Madrid agreement

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has rubbished claims that he has a pre-contract agreement with Real Madrid.

The World Cup winner is out of contract at the Parc des Princes in the summer of 2022 and is widely expected to complete a free transfer to the Bernabeu in the summer.

Reports from January claimed that Real Madrid had reached an agreement to sign Mbappe ahead of the 2022-23 season, but the striker has insisted that a decision on his future is yet to be made.

Speaking to Amazon Prime Video, Mbappe said: “If I have made a decision over my future? No. Playing against Real Madrid changes a lot of things.

“Although I have the freedom to do what I want in this moment, I am not going to speak with a rival or do that type of thing. I am concentrated on winning against Real Madrid. And then we will see what happens.”

Mbappe scored PSG’s fifth goal in their 5-1 thrashing of Ligue 1 champions Lille on Sunday night, taking his total tally for the club to 152 strikes in 201 appearances.
