Everton ‘agree loan deal for Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek’

Everton have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Donny van de Beek on loan from Manchester United.

The Netherlands international is yet to start a single Premier League game for the Red Devils this term and is supposedly pining for a move elsewhere before the January window closes for business.

Man United have reportedly told Van de Beek that he is free to leave within the next 36 hours, with both Everton and Crystal Palace rumoured to be interested in a temporary deal.

Now, The Guardian reports that Everton have reached an agreement with Man United to sign Van de Beek on loan, but the 24-year-old is yet to decide on his preferred destination.

The report adds that incoming Toffees boss Frank Lampard earmarked Van de Beek as a priority target, and the Merseyside club will fork out the entirety of the midfielder’s salary during his time at Goodison Park.

Van de Beek has one goal from 14 appearances in a Man United shirt this season but has played a mere 70 minutes in the Premier League.
