Emerson Palmieri is reportedly undergoing a medical with West Ham ahead of a permanent transfer from Chelsea.
The Italy international has struggled for playing time since arriving at Chelsea in January 2018, starting only 23 Premier League club games for the club.
Having failed to secure a regular place in the side, Emerson was loaned out to Lyon last season where he scored one goal and contributed two assists in 29 appearances.
Although he returned to Chelsea for pre-season, the 28-year-old is set to leave the club on a permanent deal after West Ham reached an agreement on a £15m fee.
According to Sky Sports News, Emerson is undergoing the second part of a medical ahead of his move to the Hammers.
The left-back has already agreed personal with West Ham, who are set to make Emerson their seventh signing of the transfer window.
Emerson will leave Chelsea after scoring two goals and providing five assists in 71 appearances for the club.
