Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger unhappy with latest contract offer?

Antonio Rudiger has reportedly been left frustrated with Chelsea‘s latest offer of a new contract.

Despite being a key figure under head coach Thomas Tuchel, the Germany international has just seven-and-a-half months remaining on his existing terms at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are making a sustained effort to retain the services of the 28-year-old, who has starred on the left-hand side of a three-man backline.

However, according to Bild, Rudiger is no closer to penning a new deal, the player allegedly wanting £60,000 per week more than he is being offered.

The report suggests that Rudiger is expecting to receive a package worth £10m per year, which works out at approximately £190,000 per week.

Chelsea’s latest attempt is said to be regarded as ‘a slap in the face’ by Rudiger, who would allegedly prefer to stay at the European champions.
