Barcelona have revealed that Gavi has been taken to hospital after suffering a head injury during Saturday’s 1-0 defeat to Real Betis in La Liga.
The 17-year-old suffered the injury when the ball was blasted at him from close range by Hector Bellerin, which led to the midfielder leaving the field on a stretcher in the 36th minute.
