Aston Villa have reportedly identified Derby County youngster Omari Kellyman as a potential transfer target.
The Rams, who are battling to avoid relegation from the Championship, made it through the closing days of the January window without losing any more of their first-team players.
However, with the club in administration, their academy players are receiving widespread interest, and it appears that Villa are readying an approach for a prospect who is yet to make his first-team debut.
According to Derbyshire Live, Villa are admirers of teenager Kellyman, who has made an impression in youth fixtures.
Despite having only turned 16 years of age in September, the forward featured among the replacements against Bournemouth in a Championship fixture in November.
Villa would have to pay compensation for the Northern Ireland Under-17s international if they firm up their interest.
