Liverpool preparing contract for Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic?

Liverpool are reportedly ready to make a contract offer for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

Despite signing Arthur Melo on loan from Juventus in the summer transfer window, Liverpool are believed to be keen on strengthening their midfield in 2023.

Liverpool are one of a number of sides currently pursuing England international Jude Bellingham, but they are still considering other options.

After being tentatively linked with Brozovic in the summer, the Liverpool Echo are reporting that the Reds are preparing a contract offer for the Croatia international.

Although Brozovic signed a new deal in March to keep him at Inter until 2026, Liverpool are willing to present the 29-year-old with a two-year contract that contains an option for a further year.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side could face competition for the player’s signature, with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United linked with a potential move.

Brozovic has scored two goals in nine appearances this season, although he has missed Inter’s last two games due to a hamstring injury.
