Kylian Mbappe ‘wanted Rashford, Lewandowski, Dembele, Scamacca at PSG’

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe reportedly had shortlist of four players he wanted the club to sign in the summer transfer window.

Despite being linked with joining Real Madrid on a free transfer, Mbappe opted to sign a new three-year deal with PSG in May.

Following the contract extension, there were reports suggesting the France international would have greater influence in the club’s sporting decisions.

According to The Mirror, Mbappe spoke to PSG football advisor Luis Campos about his desire to sign a new striker who could join him in the forward line.

The report states that the 23-year-old gave Campos a four-man shortlist that included Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

Current Barcelona players Robert Lewandowski and Ousmane Dembele were also named as well as Italy international Gianluca Scamacca.

While none of those on Mbappe’s wish list were signed, Campos has since expressed his frustration of PSG’s transfer window, despite the club adding six new players to their squad
