Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta could name an unchanged side for Wednesday’s Premier League clash with Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will again definitely be without the services of Reiss Nelson due to a thigh problem, while Thomas Partey and Oleksandr Zinchenko might remain on the sidelines for the league leaders.
Partey was not available against Fulham on Saturday due to a thigh issue, while Zinchenko missed out with a knee problem, and both players will need to be assessed ahead of this match.
Even if Arteta declares the duo fit and available, they could potentially be held back for Sunday’s clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
As a result, the same XI could be named from the clash with Fulham, meaning that Kieran Tierney and Mohamed Elneny are in line to retain their spots.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Emile Smith Rowe are among the options for change, but Arteta is likely to resist the temptation to shuffle his pack.
