Nice winger Deji Sotona is set for a medical with Brentford, according to a report.
The Bees are looking to add further quality to their squad for the second half of the season before the transfer window closes, and the youngster is someone they have their eye on.
According to the Daily Mail, Sotona is set to have a medical with Brentford today ahead of a potential move from Nice, with the winger set to join the Premier League outfit on deadline day.
The 19-year-old is expected to join the Bees on loan until the end of the season after he impressed staff during a recent opportunity he had to train with the club.
Sotona had previously been part of Manchester United’s academy, and the Red Devils gave a positive reference about him after Brentford enquired for more information.
The Bees will be back in action on February 5 when they face Everton in the FA Cup.
