Manchester United will reportedly battle Chelsea for the signature of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni during this summer’s transfer window.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form for his Ligue 1 club during the 2021-22 campaign, making 29 appearances in all competitions, contributing two assists in the process.
Chelsea continue to be heavily linked with the France international, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his current deal with Monaco.
The Blues are believed to be looking into his ‘attitude and personal life’, as the capital giants consider bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
However, according to L’Equipe, Man United are also interested in the midfielder and will attempt to secure his services during this summer’s transfer window.
There had been suggestions that Tchouameni could be on the move in January, but Monaco have allegedly made it clear that the Frenchman will not be leaving in the middle of the season.
Real Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the former Bordeaux youngster, who has made seven appearances at international level.
